Yesterday I received a very excited text from my cousin saying that she saw one of our shirts on an MTV commercial. At first I thought, no way, but they have one of those awesome TiVO devices and she said she recorded and rewinded it a bunch of times and was POSITIVE it was Hipster Werewolf.

She wasn’t mistaken! With minimal searching I was able to find the commercial on the magical interwebs. It’s for a contest for the Buried Life from MTV & Harveys. Check it out here while it’s still up.

Hipster Werewolf is available for casting calls and/or birthday parties.

Spring has finally arrived… well, sort of!

Greetings!

After much testing, retesting, editing, modifying, uploading, and more…Spring has finally arrived in Crywolf. We have been hard at work coming up with new designs and new products for our Spring 2010 line. This is our first launch of the new year and there will be many more goodies to follow.

We are introducing a bunch of new characters that will be here to stay. Meet Chloe & Wolfe.

They are the Crywolf mascots. They travel far and wide and like to play games. They live in the Woodlands and have many animal friends, which you will meet along the way.

Here is the infamous Wolfgang trio - Noah, Wally, and Cole.

They’re always up to some kind of mischief. You’ll be seeing more of them very soon!

There will be more goodies coming in very shortly, so come back soon.

Hey peeps! A couple updates…

First things first! As we are all aware, much help is needed in Haiti following the devastating earthquake that has caused devastating destruction. We wanted to contribute in some way to the relief efforts put forth by the Red Cross to supply emergency aid to Haiti. Right now 10% of all sales made on our site will be donated to The Red Cross in support of their humanitarian, recovery and reconstruction efforts (with all donations being matched by the Canadian gov’t).

We made our first donation on the weekend and want to thank all of you for your orders and for your support! We’re no John Travoltas who are able to fly our own commercial plane stuffed with supplies (and scientology ministers?!?!) straight to Haiti, but we will do what we can with what we’ve got.

Secondly, today we released our first design of 2010, a Limited Edition Valentine’s day tee! It features some brand new characters; Chloe and Wolfe, young and in lurrrrve:

We just wanted to take a minute to thank you, our dear fans, for another amazing year. Our best yet! We had the pleasure of meeting and making a lot of new customers/friends/fans and are so grateful for your support because, well, not to sound all cliche and everything BUT you are what make Crywolf possible! For real.

The holidays are over but instead of being down about it, we’re excited for the new year and busy conjuring up some new 2010 designs which will be released sometime in February. At that point most of the 2009 designs will be discontinued, so you might want to grab some designs that you’ve been coveting before the last printings get sold off!

We have some exciting plans for new 2010 products that you probably won’t be able to live without… but you’ll just have to wait and see what they are!

It’s cold out there, so stay warm. It’s going to be a good year.

BUTTONMANIA opening

I went to check out BUTTONMANIA at G+ Gallery this afternoon where we had some 1″ collaged buttons on display.

It was pretty cool to see what other artists had done. Buttons have become such a commonplace fashion accessory and we make and see so many of our own every day, so it was interesting to see buttons used by artists as a medium and to be able to just step back for a second and appreciate them as individual pieces. My favorites were the one-of-a-kind buttons that were either hand drawn/painted or were made from an original piece of art.

ATTN: button lovers

What’s more awesome than an artist’s button show? Not much. We will be having some LTD edition collaged 1″ buttons in the show, you should check it out if you’re in/around Toronto. G+ is across the street from The Gladstone Hotel on the West side of Gladstone Ave.

That’s a preview of the collaged buttons that we will have in the show. Each one is different! Collect the whole C R Y W O L F set or you can just get your favorite button of the bunch. There will be about 50 for sale at the show @ $2 each.

CNE 2009 Recap

This is about a month late but no matter. Cne 2009 was a great year. Let’s see? Quick Recap:

* Met a bunch of cool people
* Saw people with super old p0isson buttons on their bag
* Very FEW crocs this year!
* New flooring (no more nasty carpet)
* New vinyl decals (a la stickitart.ca)
* Got our very first fan art (from Marika)
* New counter (hand-built by Stephanie)
* Lots of visitors/fans
* Banana chips/Soy beans/Roasted Corn/ JUICE IT/Cotton Candy/Dips/BBT.. best food ever
* Rowz’s bday at the ex (with amazing balloon)
* Bee following us into the cne every morning
* Radio interview while it was super busy listen here!
* Amazing weather!
*Afternoon naps
* Playing lots of games and winning .. NONE!
* Conned by a carnie (will never trust another one again!)
